Instrumental Music
Beginning in sixth grade, middle school students are taught basic instrumental music concepts such as performance, instrument care, composition, working as an ensemble, practice habits, correct rehearsal and performance etiquette, and much more. Students perform in concert bands in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Students may also try out for the jazz band.
