Dear Families,

This year, we received 137 nominations for Teacher of the Year and 53 nominations for Support Person of the Year, reflecting the incredible dedication of our staff. We proudly recognized Ms. Elizabeth Halberg, a fourth-grade teacher at Three Fires Elementary, as our Teacher of the Year for creating an engaging, supportive classroom where students thrive. Mrs. Lena Rossetter, a multilingual tutor at Southwest Elementary, was named our Support Person of the Year for her tireless work helping students access the curriculum and build strong language and literacy skills. In addition, Mrs. Lindsey McDowell, a begindergarten teacher at Three Fires Elementary, was honored by WHMI as a Making the Grade winner for the difference she makes in the lives of her students and families.
