For the past two years, all students have been eligible to receive free school breakfasts and lunches regardless of a family's income based on waivers from the United States Department of Agriculture. Unfortunately, those waivers expired June 30th, 2022 and the waivers do not extend into the next school year. For the 2022-2023 school year, families will need to complete a free and reduced meal application to qualify for free or reduced priced meals. Applications for free and reduced-price meals are available July 1st, 2022. To apply online visit https://howell.familyportal.cloud/ or you can print an paper application below.
