Kid's Kare

Registration for the 2023-2024 school year will be open to the community on Monday, April 3rd from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM 

Registration will be a first come, first serve basis. *We will be enrolling families until all spots are full.  If all spots are full prior to 1:30 PM, we will close our office for registration purposes and call anyone remaining on site to add them to our waitlist. If families arrive on site after spots are full, they will be directed to call our office to be added to the waitlist.

The registration process will take place at our Little Highlander's Learning Center (861 E. Sibley St. Howell, MI 48843).

When arriving at our building, please park in the main parking lot in front of the building. Please enter around the corner at the B1 entrance. Provided below are the registration documents that you will need completed at the time of registration. To expedite the process, please complete the registration forms prior to your arrival. If you are unable to print the forms, hard copies will be available when you sign in.

Our registration process will be completed as follows:
- Upon your arrival, we will be taking family's phone numbers in the order they arrive. Once your name and phone number has been taken, you can wait in your car until directed to come to the office.
- We will be allowing 3 families into the office to complete the registration process at a time.

Kid's Kare offers child care services both before and after the elementary school day. This safe, caring environment provides children with an opportunity to participate in arts and crafts, board games, outdoor play, homework time and more.

Payments are due by Thursday at 6 p.m. for the following week.

We follow the Howell Public Schools calendar. Additional care may be available on Teacher In-Service days and during select school breaks. (For information on care during the summer months, please see Summer Kid's Kare).

Kid's Kare Fees 

  • Annual Registration $100/family 

  • Rates $12.00/session per child

  • Drop In Rate: $14/session per child

  • Session Times Mornings 6:30 to the start of the school day and Afternoons end of the school day to 6 pm
