Dual Language Immersion Program

Academia Bilingüe at Three Fires Elementary is a dual language immersion program where students learn in both English and Spanish through their elementary years. The program was created in response to parent feedback, and to create an additional educational option for Howell families. The program is an educational choice for families, and is not mandated for any student.

In Academia Bilingüe at Three Fires Elementary, students will learn the same course work as in other classrooms in the district, just in Spanish. By the end of elementary school students will be proficient in both English and Spanish. To learn more about Academia Bilingüe at Three Fires Elementary, please watch the videos below.

Enrollment Information
The enrollment window for Academia Bilingüe at Three Fires Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year is now open. The application deadline is Friday, February 27 at 5 p.m. Please click here to complete the Academia Bilingüe application.

Families interested in Academia Bilingüe are invited to attend a parent information night on Tuesday, February 10, at 6 p.m. to learn more about the program. During the event, families will hear an overview of the program, meet Academia Bilingüe staff, hear from current students and parents, and tour the immersion program classrooms. The event will be held in the Three Fires Elementary School Media Center.
