Mrs. Pasini

Stacy R. Pasini


Mrs. Pasini was elected to four-year terms in 2012 and in 2016. In 2020 she was elected to a six-year team. She is a Caseworker II for the Oakland County Circuit Court/Family Division where she has been employed for over 20 years. She has been active in her neighborhood association, Elementary PTO, and in a variety of committees throughout the district. Mrs. Pasini holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice, and a Masters Degree in Public Administration. Additionally, she has completed a year-long leadership training program through Oakland County. Mrs. Pasini is also an adjunct faculty member at Madonna University in the Political Science Department. Mrs. Pasini and her husband Scott have four daughters.

Brent Earl

Brent Earl
Vice President

Mr. Earl was elected to four-year terms in 2014 and 2018. He is currently a Sales Director for Siemens Corporation and raises cattle and other animals on his family farm, which dates back to the 1860’s. Mr. Earl graduated from Howell High School in 1985. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Hillsdale College. His wife Jennifer is an English Language Arts Teacher at Highlander Way Middle School. Together they have four children, with three Howell graduates and one currently attending Howell High School. 

Mrs. Conn

Christy Conn


Mrs. Conn was elected to a four-year term in 2018. She is the Director of Human Resources and a Partner for a human resource outsourcing and consulting firm located in Livingston County. Mrs. Conn has been a resident of the Howell Public Schools district since 2006. She has previously served on the Howell Mainstreet Design Committee and with the Livingston Area Human Resource Association (LAHRA), including the role of President. Mrs. Conn gives back to the community through organizations including but not limited to 100 Women Who Care About Livingston County, Howell Rotary, and the Livingston County United Way. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University and the Lee Honors College in 2003. She also holds professional certifications in her field. Mrs. Conn and her husband Eric have three young children, all of whom are or will be attending Howell Public Schools.

Mrs. Tarara

Courtney A. Tarara


Mrs. Tarara was elected to a four-year term in 2016 and a six-year term in 2020. She owns several businesses in downtown Howell and is a staunch supporter of her community. She has served on the Howell MainStreet DDA Board as Secretary and chaired its Design Committee. Mrs. Tarara is a member of 100 Women Who Care about Livingston County and her business, Frontal Lobe Coworking, partners with Richard Lim Photography and Livingston County Catholic Charities several times a year. Mrs. Tarara, a Howell High School alumna, attended Northwood University where she double majored in International Business and Management with a minor in Spanish. Mrs. Tarara and her husband have two children attending Howell Public Schools.

Mrs. Trudell

Grace Trudell
Ms. Trudell was elected to four-year terms in 2014 and 2018. She is currently a Business Representative for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 58 in Detroit. She has an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Henry Ford Community College, currently pursuing her Bachelor’s at SUNY Empire State University, and graduate of the Detroit Electrical Industry Training Center. Ms. Trudell is a licensed Journeyman Electrician and Electrical Inspector with the State of Michigan and sits on the Board of Directors with the International Electrical Inspectors Association of Michigan and is 1st Vice-President of the Reciprocal Electrical Council, Inc. of Michigan. She advocates strongly for education as well as women in construction through her current position and the National Association of Women in Construction Detroit 183 Chapter. In addition to those boards, Ms. Trudell represents organized labor and Livingston County on the Michigan Works Southeast Workforce Development Board and Executive Committee as well as the Livingston Career and College Access Network. She is the proud mother of one teenage son currently enrolled in the district.

Mr. Wilcox

Marcus Wilcox

Mr. Wilcox was originally appointed to the Board in June 2015 and elected to four-year terms in 2016, and 2020. He has been an attorney for over 15 years in Livingston County where he practices in several different areas of law, including criminal and divorce. He previously worked as an adjunct professor at Cleary University and has worked for both General Motors and Chrysler Financial. Mr. Wilcox is active in the community and is a former Special Olympics basketball team coach. A graduate of Howell High School, Mr. Wilcox earned a Business Degree from Grand Valley State University, a Master’s Degree from Texas A&M International University, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy. Mr. Wilcox and his wife, Stacey, have two children.

Mrs. Zurek

Crystal Zurek
Ms. Zurek was elected to a four-year term in 2020. She has taught health education for 8 years at Mill Creek Middle School in Dexter. She is in her 10th year of teaching. Ms. Zurek earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Michigan State University and her Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology from Fort Hays State University. She is a member of the National Education Association. Ms. Zurek is the proud mother of a Highlander Virtual kindergarten student.
