The Howell Public Schools Early Childhood Education Department is proud to offer nurturing, high-quality childcare and preschool options for children ages six weeks to five years at Little Highlanders Learning Center. Our caring, experienced staff provide engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences that support children’s growth, independence, and readiness for the future. Programs operate year-round with flexible attendance options, and we prioritize building strong relationships with every child and family. The Early Childhood Education Department also oversees the district’s before- and after-school Kids Kare program, as well as the Summer Kids Kare program for school-age children.
