Howell Public Schools knows how important wellness is to support the learning process. Proper nutrition and physical fitness are vital parts of the school day and help our students reach their full academic and personal potential. The district’s Coordinated School Health and Wellness Team is dedicated to supporting this process and promoting lifelong healthy habits for all students.
You can view our Local School Wellness Policy here. This policy outlines our goals for promoting student wellness and ensuring compliance with federal school meal guidelines. We welcome input from parents, students, staff, and community members in reviewing and updating our wellness policy.
Howell Public Schools reviews and updates the Local School Wellness Policy at least once every year, in alignment with district goals and federal requirements. The district also provides annual updates to the public on the policy’s implementation and progress toward wellness goals. Updates, assessments, and related wellness information are shared on this webpage. You can view our Triennial Assessment Summary here.
