History

2017 Summary:

Varsity:
06-10-2017: Howell Varsity ended their season with a 3-1 loss to Holt High School in the first game of the regional playoffs.
Howell's 2017 season accomplishments include a sixth consecutive District title, a 29-10-1 overall record (.738 win percentage), 267 runs for and 141 runs against.
Howell had 11 team member's graduate with 8 player's continuing on to play baseball at the collegiate level, and one continuing on to play college football.

Junior Varsity:

The Howell Junior Varsity squad ended their season with a record of 15 wins 10 losses and 1 tie. Their winning percentage was .596 with 184 runs for and 132 runs against.

Freshmen:

The Howell freshman squad ended their season with 16 wins and 8 losses. Their winning percentage was .667
with 152 runs for and 100 runs against.


2016 Varsity Summary:

- Varsity finished season with a 33-9 record.
- 309 runs for and 148 runs against.
- Varsity wins their first KLAA Championship!
- Varity wins 5th consecutive District Championship (8-4) over Dexter High School and advances to Regionals.
- Highlanders season ends with a 6-3 loss to Portage Northern in the Regional Final

2016 Junior Varsity Summary:
- Howell completed the season with a 19-9-1 record.
- 193 runs for and 120 runs against.
2016 Freashman Summary:
- Howell finishes the season with an impressive 24-7 winning record!
- 213 runs scored and let up 111 runs.

VARSITY 2015 Summary:
- Varsity finished the season with a 31-10 Record. 272 Runs Scored, 134 Runs Against.
- Howell Wins the Joe Hamilton Tournament
- Highlanders Win Lake Orion Invitational
- Howell wins 5th consecutive Shelander Tournament
- Varsity wins 4th consecutive District Championship (3-2) over Okemos and advances to Regionals!
- Highlanders season ends with 4-3 loss to Holt in the Regional semi-finals.
