Our Kids, Our Community, Our Future Bond Projects Move Forward

Work and planning continue on projects funded by the Our Kids, Our Community, Our Future Bond.
After nearly a year of planning, we are nearing the end of the design phase for the replacement Northwest and Southwest elementary schools and the major renovation at Highlander Way Middle School.
On Monday night, the Board of Education approved a proposal to improve the Howell High School Freshman Baseball diamond. At Three Fires Elementary, fences are installed, and grass has been planted on several of the new youth baseball and softball fields.
The replacement of the turf field at Parker Middle School will begin next week and will be completed by the end of November so that it is ready for our spring sports season. The Parker Stadium will be closed to the public during the turf replacement.
Additionally, new furniture for Innovation Academy has been ordered and is beginning to arrive.
