Howell Public Schools Accepting Nominations for Teacher and Support Person of the Year Awards

1/9/2026 - Each year, Howell Public Schools honors two exceptional individuals through the Teacher of the Year and Support Person of the Year awards. These awards celebrate the dedication, professionalism, and daily impact of staff members who make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.
We invite all members of the Howell community, employees, students, parents, and residents, to nominate deserving candidates for these prestigious awards.
Teacher of the Year nominees should be exceptionally skilled and dedicated professional educators, including teachers, counselors, and other instructional staff. Ideal candidates demonstrate deep knowledge of their students and engage in creative, imaginative, and inspiring teaching practices.
Support Person of the Year recognizes an individual whose dedication, compassion, and professionalism make a meaningful difference for students, staff, and the broader school community. Support Person of the Year includes: secretary, main office clerk, library services coordinator, bookkeeper, computer technician, non-union support, special needs aide, general education aide, instructional assistant, copy clerk, mentor, hall monitor/security, food service, and maintenance employees.
