INFORMATION |
TARDINESS POLICY
There are essentially only two acceptable excuses for being tardy; one is a doctor appointment accompanied by a physician's note and the other is a late or delayed bus. Students who choose not to ride the bus lose transportation as an excuse. Parents may explain a tardy but not excuse it.
TARDINESS REFERRAL PROCEDURE - (Per class..per quarter).
Tardiness will be handled in the following fashion:
1- 3 tardies - teacher issues a detention and a parent contact is made
4 tardies - 2 detentions
5 tardies - 3 detentions
6 tardies - Saturday School
7 tardies - referral to County Attendance Officer more than 7 - discipline violation(s) resulting in suspension
*Failure to report for detention or Saturday School will result in additional disciplinary measures.
