In sports that crown an Association Champion, the Association Champ wins 24 cup points. Descending points until last place (1 point).

In sports that only crown up to a Conference Champion, the Conference Champion wins 12 cup points.
Descending points until last place (1 point). An additional 1 point is given to each Divisional championship team.

If a school does not have a varsity team in that sport, they will receive zero (0) points. For a sport to be on the list, 75% of the schools must offer it.

Co-op programs will split cup points between the participating schools.

Schools will be ranked with the highest point total winning the “KLAA Cup". Points may only be won by Varsity teams.
