GOLF (Girls / Boys)

I. SCHEDULE
Dual: Double Round Robin (H&A) within the Division.
Conference: GIRLS - Tuesday week of Regional ___ BOYS - Tuesday week after Regional

II. DAYS TO BE SCHEDULED
Monday - Wednesday - Friday
Start Time - TBD

III. NUMBER OF PLAYERS
Players: Play 6 Count 4

IV. CHAMPIONSHIP
Divisional: Championship shall be awarded to the team accumulating the most points within the Division over the season.
Points shall be awarded for each dual match victory (one for each win; zero for a loss; .5 for a tie).
Conference: The KLAA Conference Tournament will determine the Conference Champion. The Conference Tournament will be conducted at a neutral site, if possible.
Tie Breaker: Dual/Conference: Ties will be broken by the 5th players score in dual and Conference play. If still tied, go to 6th player.
Rained Out Matches: If rained out matches are not made up before the Conference tournament, they can be made up on the front nine on the day of the Conference tournament.

V. ALL CONFERENCE AWARDS
Boys/Girls: An All Conference medal will be awarded to the players posting the best eighteen (18) scores at the Kensington Conference Tournament and the best eighteen (18) scores at the Lakes Conference Tournament. These individuals will be recognized as the All Conference Golf Team.

TIE BREAKER If there is a tie between two (2) golfers, both will receive medals. If there is a tie between three (3) or more, the tie will be broken by comparing scorecards of the highest handicapped hole.

VI. TEAM AWARDS
Divisional: Champions shall receive a permanent award.
Conference: Champions shall receive a permanent award.
Divisional, Conference, co or tri champions will be honored and awards given.

VII. KENSINGTON LAKES ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (KLAA) / UNITED STATES GOLF ASSOCIATION (USGA) / MHSAA RULES and REGULATIONS

VIII. CONFERENCE MEET PROCEDURES
The pairings for the Conference meet will follow the same format as the MHSAA district and regional tournaments. The grouping will be seeded according to overall conference record with three groupings of four. (Places 1 - 4, 5 - 8, 9 - 12 will be paired together.) Tiebreakers will be head to head competition. If there is a three way tie that can not be broken by head to head then the overall scores of the matches will be used to break the tie.
Coaching during matches – Coaches may coach from green to tee only during the conference meet.
