In “Twelfth Night,” twins Viola (Alicia Ward) and Sebastian (Ian Mills) are separated following a shipwreck. Viola, who believes her brother has died, finds herself in the odd world of Illyria. Viola disguises herself as a man named Cesario and enters the service of Duke Orsino (Ben Dean), who sends Cesario to court Lady Olivia (Lindsay Schnute) on his behalf. However, Lady Olivia quickly falls for Cesario. However, Viola is in love with Malvolio (Timothy Atkins). Meanwhile, Sebastian and the sea captain Antonio (Nick Broadbent) arrive in Illyria where Antonio is an outlaw. With both twins now on Illyria, confusion ensues leading to a surprise wedding.

“We are so excited to bring ‘Twelfth Night’ to the stage of the Rod Bushey Performing Arts Center. This classic Shakespearean comedy will surely delight the audience,” said Amanda Malo, Howell High School drama teacher, and the play’s director. “To prepare for this performance, a member of the Stratford Festival attended one of our rehearsals and held a workshop for the cast. We also take a field trip to Stratford, Canada to attend a performance by the Stratford Festival.”
