Empowering students to be successful citizens

What's Happening

From the Superintendent's Desk

Dear Families,

On Monday, we will honor and celebrate those who have served our country. While several events are planned in the county on that day, I want to mention a few that involve our students. Monday morning, the Howell High School Air Force JROTC unit will host the school’s annual Veterans Day Salute in the Rod Bushey Performing Arts Center. The event is open to all veterans and will include refreshments beginning at 8:30 a.m. and a guest speaker starting at 9:15 a.m. This year’s speaker is Officer Don Banfield. Officer Banfield will speak about his experience serving in the US Marine Corps. You can read more about the program at Following the Veterans Day Salute, the Howell High School Air Force JROTC unit will head to Downtown Howell to take part in the Livingston County Veterans Memorial ceremony at 11 a.m. I would like to thank and recognize all of the veterans who have served our country.
