1. Running, dunking, pushing, and horseplay
are prohibited in the pool and locker room areas.
2. Food, drinks, glass containers, and gum are not allowed
in the pool, locker room or balcony areas.
3. Patrons and staff must shower before entering the pool.
4. Non-swimmers or those under 54" tall must
be accompanied by an adult in the water.
5. For anyone under 18 swim tests are required for anyone
exhibiting signs of trouble in the deep end areas.
6. Disposable diapers are not allowed in the pool.
7. Street shoes are not allowed on the pool deck.
8. Swimming is not allowed in the diving area when the board
is in use.
9. Diving of any kind is not permitted in the shallow areas.
10. Proper swimming attire is required.
11. Management reserves the right to amend the above rules.
1. The ramp area is off limits to playing
or climbing on the rails unless during swimlessons and accompanied
by an instructor.
2. U.S. Coast Guard approved lifejackets are allowed
only in the shallow end ofthe pool, and must be within arms’
reach of an accompanying adult.
3. For all Open and Family swims, the outside lane line will
be attached to the middlelane to open up outside wall and
prevent landing on lane line.
4. Flips, twists, and back dives are not permitted off the
wall. Feet first and front diveonly.
5. Diving is allowed only in designated areas.
6. Shooting the basketball is not allowed from the deck nor
is hanging on basketball rimor net is not allowed.
7. Lifejackets are not allowed in the deep end.
8. Jumping above the benches is not allowed during open or
family swim.
9. Kick boards are to be used by serious lap swimmers or adults
in the lap lanes only.
10. Patrons are not allowed in the pool offices unless for
an emergency reason.
11. Hanging on the lane lines is not allowed. Patrons should
swim underneath the lanelines not over the top.
12. Spitting water is not allowed.
13. Patrons are not allowed to climb on the shoulders of anyone
else.
14. Patrons are not allowed to throw each other anywhere in
the pool.
15. The H.A.A.C. provides diving toys and noodles during open
andfamily swim in addition to the lifejackets. This is with
the expacation that they are returned in the proper area at
the end of the swim.
16. Swim tests will be given at the guard’s discretion to
any patron under 18 whom is exhibiting signs of trouble in
the water. Judge their ability in the water and if warranted,
have them swim the front stroke, in the shallow end, from
bench to bench and back without stopping or touching the bottom.
17. At any point during a swim, if one long whistle is blown,
the pool is to be cleared immediately.
18. On occasion, the Aquatic Center experiences a body fluid
contamination in the pool. On theses occurrences we are required
by the Health Department to deal with each incident in a sanitary
manner. Depending on the severity of the incident, we may
have to close for up to 8 hours. In most instances, we can
reopen within an hour. We realize this is a sensitive topic,
and that not all incidents can be prevented or avoided. However
if the incident happens before the first half of the rental,
free swim passes will be awarded. We want to make our patrons
aware of this and help you understand that theses situations
are beyond our control and cannot result in refunds if this
occurs after the first half of the rental. Thanks you for
your time and patience on this matter.
1. One person allowed on diving board at
all times.
2. Only one bounce allowed for each dive.
3. Running, handstands, back dives, inwards and cartwheels
are prohibited on thediving board.
4. Patrons must dive straight off and then swim to the nearest
ladder.
5. Fulcrum is not to be adjusted at any open swim times, unless
approved by theDirector of Assistant Manager.
6.Diving boards will be open or closed depending of the patron
load.
