LEARN TO SWIM PROGRAM
The Howell Area Aquatic Center invites you to join our "School
of Fish" swim program for children 6 months to 7 years
old, or anyone needing instruction who has not yet completed
the American Red Cross Level III.
This program is designed to teach skills that are age appropriate, emphasizing safety facts, parent-student- teacher interaction, and assessment of student skills. This will be taught in conjunction with the Red Cross Levels III-V. All of our instructors are either W.S.I. certified, or specially trained to meet the needs of our younger clientele.
Class sizes are limited to optimize student/instructor ratios. It has been our experience that students normally need to enroll in each class level more than once, depending on skill level, before moving on to the next class. We strive to place students in a class based on their skill level to optimize results since their age is reviewed as a guideline only. It is our recommendation that you enroll your child for one session at a time. If they are ready to pass upon completion of their first session, our instructors will update their grade status prior the the start of a new session.
A minimum enrollment is necessary, with the understanding that if not met, classes may be canceled.
HOT TUB WILL BE CLOSED DURING SWIM LESSONS.
